Privacy policy
Grip&Grind is currently a small, invite-only beta. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
Health data: anything you tell us about pain, injury history, or medical clearance, plus your daily readiness check-ins (sleep, soreness, energy) and session feedback. This is sensitive personal data.
Training data: your goals, equipment, schedule, tournament calendar, logged sets and reps, and test results (e.g. jump height, clubhead speed).
How health data is handled
Per our own product rules, health data — pain, injury and medical answers — is:
- Private to you. It is never shown to other users and is not used for anything beyond building your own training plan.
- Exportable. You can request a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Deletable. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time.
To export or delete your data right now, during this beta, email sean.r.citherlet@gmail.com — self-serve export and deletion is planned for a later milestone.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share your health data with advertisers or other third parties. We don't use your training data to train third-party AI models.
Who can see it
Only you, and the founder as the site's operator (for support and debugging during this beta). Our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Neon) process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Questions
This is an early beta run by an individual founder, not a company with a dedicated privacy team. If anything here is unclear, ask — see the medical disclaimer and terms for related information.
